Pre-trip Exterior:
The pre-trip exterior inspection is conducted
in the yard and is the first step of your test. It is conducted while the
vehicle is stationary where it is parked. There are 6 steps to follow in the
exterior inspection that the driver must conduct to avoid penalties. Namely:
- Observation under vehicle
- Windscreen wipers
- Tyres
- Engine compartments
- Lenses
- Reflectors
- Fuel cap
