Pre trip interior

The pre-trip interior inspection is conducted
in the yard and is the second step of your test. It is conducted while the
vehicle is stationary where it is parked. There are steps to follow in the
interior inspection that the driver must conduct to avoid penalties. Namely:

  • Observe under vehicle for obstructions
  • Doors
  • Application of parking brake
  • Neutral or park (automatic transmission)
  • Obstructions
  • Seat adjustments
  • Adjust mirrors
  • Operation of lights
  • Operation of indicators
  • Operation of wipers
  • Operation of horn.
