Following distance

Keep at least a two-second gap from the vehicle in front in good conditions — pick a fixed point, and you should pass it no sooner than two seconds after the vehicle ahead. Increase the gap in rain, fog or at night.

SeatbeltsDriver and all passengers must wear a seatbelt where fitted.
Right of wayNo one automatically “has” right of way — you must yield it to avoid danger.
StoppingNever stop on a freeway, in a tunnel, on a bridge, or where a sign/road marking prohibits it.
OvertakingOvertake on the right, only when it is safe and legal to do so.
CellphoneYou may not hold a phone while driving — hands-free only.
AlcoholLegal limit: below 0.05 g per 100 ml blood (0.02 for professional drivers).
