Turn in the Road
Turn in the road (also known as the 3-point
turn). This manoeuvre shall be completed in three movements, two forward and
one reverse. Using forward and reverse gears the driver will be required to
demonstrate this manoeuvre by turning the vehicle around to face the opposite

enough so that the driver will end safely in the left lane, while turning the
wheel to the right. Then straighten the wheel (when safely in the left lane),
bringing the car to a stop. Engage hand brake, select neutral. (When driving on
the road this would be done when the road is too narrow for a U-turn.)
