Driving Test › Moving off
Moving off
It is
imperative for the driver to know the steps of the moving off procedure. Hefty
penalties are given during this procedure if it is not done correctly. The
driver must be sure they know the theory as well as the practical. Make sure to
practice the procedure step by step and OBSERVE. The driver is allowed and
encouraged to mention each step done out loud. This helps clarify both the
driver and instructor know the steps are followed correctly. Points will be
deducted specifically for the following:

intention - Gear
changing/selection - Waits too
long - Moving off
