Being overtaken – on the right hand side

1. Check rear-view mirror(s) and blind spot to the left.
2. Steer and position vehicle in centre of traffic lane or as far left as is safe.
3. Do not accelerate whilst being overtaken.
Note A:
Should the applicant cause his/her vehicle to increase speed, whilst being overtaken on the righthand side, on a roadway with two-way traffic, a circle shall be drawn around the black block “VIOLATION OF TRAFFIC LAW” and the test discontinued.
